Lizards

In reading we have been learning about reptiles. This week my group read about lizards. Three facts that I found out were:
* There are 4000 species of lizards and there is still more to be discovered.

* There are 3 different habitats that lizards live in and they are
  • Tropical rainforests.
  • In the tree trunks.
  • And up high in the trees.

The Komodo dragon is the largest type of lizard, growing up to 3 metres (10 feet) in length.
Here is one of the activities we had to do after reading about lizards. This activity shows a new and improved lizard that has a better chance of surviving in the wild. My lizard is metal and rainbow coloured.
